While the Andalusia region is quintessentially Spanish - with its flamenco dancers, sherry drinking and white villages perched upon cliffs - it also blends cultural and natural elements in unexpected ways, keeping visitors to this southernmost province endlessly intrigued.
To kick off the new series Spotted, about seeing the world from a fresh perspective, I interviewed illustrator Ella Frances Sanders about her book Lost in Translation - a beautiful collection of more than 50 illustrated words that don’t have a direct English translation - as well as about her favorite spots in her home of Bath and abroad.
